The meeting, led by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and attended by representatives from the local government and various agencies to discuss projects which aims to develop tourism and education in the City of Bacoor.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Cong. Lani Mercado Revilla were among the attendees, along with officials like Atty. Aimee Torrefrangco-Neri, Atty. Bernadette Carrasco, and Ms. Jo Ricardo. Representatives from the DPWH, headed by Project Manager Mr. Alfredo Malubay and the agency’s Project Engineers, also shared their knowledge and experiences.
Local officials such as Kapitan Caridad Sanchez, Kap Roehl Mañago III, and LNB Vice President Coun. Randy Francisco were also present. Engr. Jicky Jutba, the head of the Bacoor Engineering Office, and Architect Maricon De Castro from the EO expressed their support for the development of tourism and education in Bacoor. Ms. Annie Nacianceno and Audie Madarang from HUDRD also attended the meeting.
The purpose of the gathering was to discuss projects that will focus is strengthening the tourism and education sectors in Bacoor. Some of the key projects discussed were the City of Bacoor Mangrove and EcoTourism Park in Barangay Sinbanali, the Museo De Bacoor in Barangay Poblacion, and the Cavite State University and Bacoor Science High School in Barangay Molino 3.
The meeting took place at the Strike Multi-Purpose Hall on March 1, 2024. It was an important step towards the development of tourism and education in Bacoor, providing beautiful facilities and destinations for both local and foreign tourists.
Through unity and cooperation among agencies and the local government, Bacoor City hopes to further strengthen the tourism and education sectors and implement more projects that will increase income and opportunities for its residents.
