May 7, 2024 – The LGU Bacoor, in partnership with the Liga ng mga Barangay and the E-Governance Department headed by Mr. Lodgene Ascuncion, and the Bacoor Computer Center headed by Michelle F. San Gabriel, conducted a Mobile Computer Literacy Training focused on Office Productivity Software. The event was held at the CICRD Conference Room.
The training was graced by the presence of Mayor Strike Revilla and Engr. Adrian Barrera from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Cavite. They emphasized the importance of digital literacy in today’s technologically advanced society.
Guest speakers Roderic Valenzuela, Michelle Mallen, and Jenn Tumampo shared their expertise and insights on various office productivity software applications. They provided valuable tips and tricks to enhance participants’ computer skills and increase their productivity in the workplace.
The training catered to a diverse group of participants, including persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, and city employees. A total of 19 individuals actively engaged in the three-day program, which covered topics such as word processing, spreadsheet management, and presentation software.
The Mobile Computer Literacy Training aims to bridge the digital divide and empower Bacoor residents with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital age. Participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to enhance their computer literacy and improve their overall productivity.
Mayor Strike Revilla commended the participants for their commitment to continuous learning and encouraged them to apply their newfound skills in their respective fields. He emphasized the importance of embracing technology to stay competitive in today’s fast-paced world.
