In a remarkable display of unity and collaboration, the City of Bacoor witnessed the launch of a groundbreaking partnership between private and public schools. The event, titled “Strike As 1 Ng Mga Nagkakaisang Paaralan,” was organized by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, in coordination with the HOPE PROJECT headed by its Founder and President, Dra. Tina Alberto, the City Schools Division of Bacoor, and the Department of Education.
The distinguished gathering includes Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, members of the Sangguniang Panglungsod, Mr. Ruther E. Esconde (President of Bacoor Organization of Private Schools), Liga ng Barangay Vice President Coun. Randy Francisco, Ms. Angie Cariaso (OIC Local Youth Development Office), Coun. Palm Buncio (SK Federation President), Ms. Baybylyn Pambid (School Division Superintendent), Ms. Cherry Torres (President of FPTA), and Atty. Kim Nyca Lofranco (Head of Bacoor City Legal Office).
The event also included officers from various education-oriented associations, such as the Federation of Parent Teachers Association (FPTA), the School Parent Teachers Association (SPTA), and the Bacoor Organization of Private Schools. Their active participation further exemplifies the strong collaboration between private and public schools in Bacoor.
The purpose of the gathering was to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Bacoor LGU, DepEd, and the Public and Private School Partnership. The MOU aims to strengthen collaboration and cooperation in implementing youth programs and activities.
Notable highlights of the event included inspiring messages from Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Dra. Babylyn Pambid, Dra. Tina Alberto, and Mr. Ruther Esconde . They emphasized the importance of adhering to ordinances, expressed gratitude to the schools, and commended their efforts in providing quality education.
Several private schools were recognized as valuable partners in this initiative, including Cavite School of St. Mark Inc., Ruther Esconde School of Multiple Intelligences, St. Peregrine Institute, Divine Light Academy, Bright Minds Academy of Bacoor, St. Thomas More Academy, and La Camelle School.
The event took place on March 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Bulwagan ng Liga ng Barangay. This momentous occasion marks the beginning of a collaborative journey towards enhancing education and empowering the youth in Bacoor City.
Together, the private and public schools of Bacoor are determined to make a positive impact on the lives of students and create a brighter future for the community.
