Bacoor City- The Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP) – Bacoor City made a remarkable start to Fire Prevention Month by organizing a vibrant motorcade that captured the attention of the community. The event was held on March 2, 2024, at the Bacoor Government Center. It was a resounding success, drawing the participation of esteemed guests, dedicated volunteers, and various organizations.
Led by FSINSP PRECIOUS V PETALIO, Acting City Fire Marshal, the opening ceremony witnessed a gathering of prominent figures in fire safety advocacy. Their presence added a sense of importance to the event and underscored the significance of fire prevention in Bacoor City.
The motorcade, a highlight of the occasion, showcased the united efforts of Barangay Fire Volunteers, the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and several non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Approximately 150-200 participants enthusiastically joined the procession, making it a colorful and lively spectacle.
As Fire Prevention Month continues, Bacoor City residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to protect their homes and loved ones. The BFP – Bacoor City, along with its dedicated partners, will continue to promote fire safety awareness through various initiatives and programs.
With the successful opening of Fire Prevention Month, Bacoor City sets a positive tone for the rest of the month. By working together, the community can ensure a safer and more secure environment for all residents.
