Bacoor City, February 1, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, through the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) office, held a successful “Kalinga sa Matanda” distribution event this morning at the Strike Gymnasium, bringing joy and financial assistance to senior citizens from Barangays Salinas 1 and 2.
The event was graced by Ms. Khei Sanchez representing Mayor Strike B. Revilla, as well as a video message from Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla. Also present were Coun. Levy Tela, Kuya Noly Galvez, Pastor Mike Bautista, and barangay officials from Barangays Salinas 1 and 2.
A total of 1,114 senior citizens from Barangay Salinas 1 and 846 from Barangay Salinas 2 received financial aid, a testament to the Bacoor LGU’s commitment to supporting its senior citizens. The financial assistance was made possible through the support of Team Revilla, led by Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., Cong. Bryan Revilla of the Agimat Partylist, and BM Ram Revilla Bautista.
The “Kalinga sa Matanda” program is a vital initiative that demonstrates the City Government’s dedication to ensuring the well-being of its senior citizens. The event was a resounding success, bringing smiles and much-needed assistance to the elderly residents of Barangays Salinas 1 and 2.
