Bacoor City, July 31, 2025 — Mayor Strike B. Revilla, together with Engr. Jicky Jutba of the City Engineering Office (CEO), conducted a comprehensive progress check on the ongoing construction projects at Maliksi Public Cemetery. The inspection, organized by the CEO in coordination with the City Cemetery Office, covered the Funeral Wake Room (burulan), Columbarium, and the Cemetery Perimeter Fence.
During the site visit, Mayor Strike also reviewed the status of the nitso (niches), ensuring they are properly stacked and organized. These projects aim to provide dignified and affordable burial and urn storage options, especially for Bacoor’s less privileged families, while improving the overall security and facilities of the cemetery.
The city government targets to complete all construction works by the end of this year, reflecting its commitment to enhancing public cemetery services and addressing the needs of its constituents.
