Bacoor City, July 31, 2025 — Mayor Strike B. Revilla personally conducted a site inspection of the ongoing road upgrading project along Barangay Niog, Aguinaldo Highway. The inspection, organized by the City Engineering Office (CEO) and attended by Engr. Jicky Jutba and personnel from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), aims to ensure the quality and timely completion of this busy national highway project.
During the inspection, Mayor Strike observed scattered gravel and sand along the road, which could pose hazards to motorists, especially motorcyclists. He instructed the DPWH contractors to promptly clean up these materials to prevent accidents and ensure road safety.
The mayor also reminded the public that drainage works are being carried out alongside the road construction. He appealed for patience and understanding as these essential improvements will help prevent flooding and enhance the overall road condition.
As Aguinaldo Highway is a national highway maintained by the DPWH, the city government continues to coordinate closely with the agency to ensure proper implementation of the project for the benefit of Bacoor’s residents and motorists.
