In honor of the birth anniversary of General Emilio Aguinaldo, the first President of the Republic of the Philippines, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has declared March 22, 2024, as a SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) HOLIDAY in the province of Cavite through Proclamation No. 492.
This proclamation commemorates the significant contributions of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo to Philippine history, particularly his pivotal role in the country’s struggle for independence against colonial rule.
