October 25, 2023 – The City Government of Bacoor, in collaboration with the Bacoor DepEd and the E-Governance Department headed by Dra. Babylyn M. Pambid, CESO VI – School Division Superintendent and Mr. Lodgene Ascuncion, has officially launched the Bacoor DepEd School ID System also know as “STRIKEAS1 E-CAMPUS MOBILE APP” and it was held at Bacoor Elementary School Multipurpose Hall.
The ID system is a mobile application developed to prioritize the security and well-being of students in Bacoor City. Which aims, to provide real-time notifications to parents and guardians about the arrival and departure of their children on school premises, ensuring peace of mind and enhancing communication between schools, students, and parents.
It has different features such as:
1. Hassle-free log-in and log-out functionality, streamlining attendance tracking for both students and staff.
2. Centralized reporting and information campaign management, enabling schools to disseminate important announcements, such as the suspension of classes due to inclement weather or other natural calamities.
3. Platform for promotional campaigns, facilitating effective communication and engagement between schools and the wider community.
To ensure accessibility for all, the Bacoor DepEd School ID System can be easily downloaded from the Google Play Store and App Store, making it convenient for parents, guardians, and school personnel to stay connected and informed. In addition to this, to highlight the importance of the ID system, Mr. Lodgene Assuncion head of the E-Governance Department presented clearly, it’s functions and objectives to clarify the questions of teachers, school personnels, guardians and parents – this ID system will benefit 90,689 Public School Students.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla mentioned that, “The launch of the Bacoor DepEd School ID System reflects our unwavering dedication to creating a secure and conducive learning environment for our students. By leveraging technology, we empower parents, teachers, and staff with the tools they need to ensure the well-being of our future leaders.”
The event were attended with 240 DepEd Teachers, Public School Principals, Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel, and SDO Personnel in attendance. City Councilor Alde Pagulayan and Ms. Venus T. Balmedina from the Office of Assistant School Division Superintendent also lent their support to this milestone initiative.
