Bacoor City Hall employees took a break from their usual work routines and came together for a thrilling Inter Department Bowling Tournament held last March 15, 2024. The event, organized was by the City Sports Unit, aimed to provide relaxation and foster unity among the employees of Bacoor City.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla himself led the tournament, showcasing his support for the city’s sports activities. Sidney Solis, the head of the City Sports Unit, also played a significant role in ensuring the success of the event.
The competition was held at Paeng’s Freedom Bowl in Robinson’s Imus, providing a vibrant and competitive atmosphere for the participants. Each team displayed their bowling skills and competed fiercely for the championship title.
After a series of intense matches, the Sangguniang Panglungsod (SP) emerged as the champions of the tournament, earning a well-deserved cash prize of 30,000 pesos. The Zoning and Land Development Department secured the first runner-up position, receiving 20,000 pesos, while the City Engineering Office claimed the second runner-up spot with a cash prize of 15,000 pesos. The Liga Ng Barangay (LNB) and City Information and Community Relations Department (CICRD) tied for the third runner-up position, both receiving a cash prize of 10,000 pesos.
The Inter Department Bowling Tournament not only provided a platform for friendly competition but also fostered camaraderie and teamwork among the Bacoor City employees. It served as a reminder of the importance of taking breaks from work and engaging in recreational activities to promote a healthy work-life balance.
The success of the tournament would not have been possible without the support and participation of the Bacoor City Government and employees, led by our 24/7 Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista-Mendiola. Their enthusiasm and sportsmanship made the event a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
