April 3, 2024 – The winners of the highly anticipated 20th National Science Quest were recently honored and rewarded for their exceptional accomplishments during a special event. The distribution of cash gifts, organized by the Office of the Mayor, Ruther Escode – Private Schools, and the Bacoor City Organization of Private Schools (BCOP), served as a testament to the commitment of these organizations in promoting scientific excellence.
The event was graced by the presence of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, who personally handed out the cash gifts to the deserving winners. These cash gifts, generously provided by Mayor Revilla, were made possible through his initiative and the funding provided by the Bacoor Local Government Unit (LGU). Ruther Escode, the President of BCOP, along with BCOP’s Vice Presidents, Rosello Guinto and Arsenio Guinto, and Treasurer Teresa Daguob, were also present to show their support for the young scientists.
A total of 79 students from various private schools participated in the National Science Quest and emerged victorious in different categories, showcasing their exceptional scientific knowledge and skills. These talented individuals were recognized for their dedication and hard work, earning them the opportunity to receive cash gifts as a token of appreciation.
The primary purpose of the event was to acknowledge and reward the winners for their outstanding achievements. The distribution of cash gifts, generously provided by Mayor Revilla, not only served as a tangible expression of recognition but also aimed to inspire and motivate the young scientists to continue their pursuit of scientific excellence.
