Bacoor City Government earns Top Recognition among CALABARZON LGUs

Under the dynamic leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, the City Government of Bacoor has been recognized as one of the 137 Local Government Units (LGUs) in CALABARZON, lauded for their exemplary performance as Functional Peace and Order Councils for the Fiscal Year 2022.

This recognition comes after a rigorous Peace and Order Functionality Audit, led by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) IV-A, in line with Memorandum Circular No. 2023-066. The audit evaluated the functionality and compliance of local Peace and Order Councils (POCs) with existing laws and policies. It also aimed to pinpoint innovative approaches and strategies initiated by the POCs and POC Secretariats.

The City Government of Bacoor, alongside other distinguished LGUs, has demonstrated yet another unwavering dedication to upholding peace, order, and public safety within the community—a pivotal endeavor towards achieving sustainable development.
