Under the leadership of JSUPT CHRISTOPHER R PENILLA, City Jail Warden, and in line with the celebration of the 14th Community Relations Service Month, the Bacoor City Jail Male Dormitory successfully conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) training for its personnel, Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), and the families of PDLs.
The training was facilitated by the Bureau of Fire Protection – Bacoor City, Cavite, through the efforts of FO2 Domino Jose C. Bejosano and FO1 Shane April R. Bundac.
This noteworthy initiative was designed not only to enhance emergency response capabilities among jail personnel but also to empower PDLs and their family members with critical life-saving knowledge and skills. By including PDLs and their loved ones in the training, the program fostered a sense of shared responsibility, personal development, and community care.
