Bacoor City, June 26, 2025 – Bacoor City celebrated the opening of its eighth rural health unit today with the blessing of a new Super Health Center in Barangay Maliksi 2. The event was organized by the City Government of Bacoor through the Office of City Health Services (OCHS), led by Dra. Ivy Marie Yrastorza.
The ceremony was attended by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, Board Member Alde Pagulayan, several city councilors, SK President Palm Angel Buncio, PLtCol John Paulo Carracedo, and Bishop Benedict Santos. Special guests included Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, Mr. Philip Salvador, and Assistant Regional Director Voltaire Guadalupe of DOH Calabarzon. Barangay officials, health workers, and OCHS staff were also present.
The Super Health Center, funded collaboratively by the Department of Health (DOH), Senator Bong Go, the Bacoor LGU under Mayor Strike B. Revilla, and Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, with additional support from Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and Congressman Bryan Revilla of Agimat Partylist, will offer a wide range of services including laboratory testing, ECG, pharmacy services, outpatient consultations, minor surgeries, and other essential healthcare services to the community. The new facility represents a significant step forward in improving healthcare access for residents of Barangay Maliksi 2 and the wider Bacoor City community.
