On February 24, 2024, a fire incident occurred at Guevera St., Brgy. Alima, Bacoor City, Cavite, affecting multiple residential houses in the area. The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) responded promptly to the alarm, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
The fire was brought under control at 3:27 PM, and completely extinguished at 3:42 PM by the responding fire trucks and volunteer firefighters. A total of 4 fire trucks from the BFP and 13 fire volunteers participated in the firefighting operation, along with 2 ambulances for emergency response.
Thankfully, there were no reported casualties or injuries resulting from the fire, and the situation was brought under control by the diligent efforts of the firefighting teams on the ground.
