Bacoor City – The Commission on Audit (COA) took the initiative to organize an important event, the Exit Conference Meeting, to discuss the results of the audit conducted for the year 2023. Held at the Strike Multi-Purpose Hall on March 18, 2024, the meeting brought together key officials and participants from various departments and offices.
The event was attended by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Atty. Aimee Neri-City Administrator, Atty. Sana Theresa D. Domingo-Supervising Auditor, Mr. Vince Earl P. Due as the Audit Team Leader, Atty. Adrian G. Dela Cruz, and Mr. Paulo C. Asuncion, who were part of the Audit Team.
In addition to the aforementioned individuals, other participants included Mr. Agripino Pagdanganan, the GSO Head, Richard Quion, the BDRRMO Head 1, Atty. MARVIE Kate T. Encarnado, the OIC City Accountant, Ms. Elvinia S. Guerrero, the City Budget Officer, Engr. Jicky Jutba, the City Engineering Head, Natividad Ludwig I. Ople, the HRDMD Head, Atty. Kim Nyca Lofranco, the City Legal Head, and Atty. Edith Napalan, the City Treasurer Head.
The purpose of the event was to discuss the findings of the Audit Observation conducted by COA for the year 2023. The participants engaged in a comprehensive dialogue to review the audit results and provide their audit recommendations based on the analysis of the financial records and practices of the city.
During the meeting, COA representatives highlighted areas of improvement and presented recommendations to enhance financial management, transparency, and accountability within the city administration. The officials and participants actively discussed the audit findings, emphasizing the importance of implementing the necessary measures to address any identified weaknesses or discrepancies.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla expressed his appreciation to COA for conducting a thorough audit and acknowledged the significance of their recommendations in promoting good governance and responsible financial practices. He assured the participants that the city administration would carefully review the audit results and take appropriate actions to address any issues raised.
