The City Government of Bacoor, under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, demonstrated its commitment to the welfare of its residents by organizing a Distribution of Medicines and Financial Assistance event. Held at the 3rd Floor of Revilla Hall, Bacoor Government Center, the initiative aimed to extend support to 287 beneficiaries facing various medical challenges.
The event, conducted in coordination with the City Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Ms. Liliane De Roxas Ugalde, was part of the City Government’s Emergency Assistance Program. The program was designed to help Bacooreños experiencing crisis situations, particularly those burdened by hospital bills, medication expenses, dialysis, chemotherapy, and other critical medical needs.
The process of identifying the recipients of financial assistance and medication was thorough and meticulous. Applicants were required to visit any of the 12 Strike Sa Serbisyo Action Centers, where they underwent an interview and assessment. The final approval for assistance was granted by none other than Mayor Strike himself, ensuring that the aid reached those who needed it the most.
The Distribution of Medicines and Financial Assistance event was a significant step towards alleviating the burden faced by individuals and families grappling with medical challenges. By extending a helping hand to the community, the City Government of Bacoor demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the well-being of its residents.
Through initiatives like this, the City Government of Bacoor and Mayor Strike B. Revilla continue to make a positive impact on the lives of their constituents, providing support and assistance during times of need.
