Bacoor City – In a remarkable display of unity and collaboration, the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) organized a meeting between Bacoor LGU and various brotherhoods, fraternities, youth groups, and student councils. The event, held at the Strike Multipurpose Hall on March 19, 2024, aims to discuss how the Bacoor LGU, under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, can work together with these organizations to pave the way for a brighter future for the youth of Bacoor.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Councilor Alde Pagulayan, Manolo Galvez (BDRRMO Asst. Head), and Angie Carriaso (LYDO Head) were among the key participants of the event. Additionally, representatives from several organizations attended, including TauGamma Phi Bacoor City Council, TauGamma Sigma-Bacoor City Sigma Affairs, True Brown Style 13-Talaba Hood, Bacoor Elders Alumni Triskelion (BEAT), Triskelion in Government (TriGov) Bacoor, Scouts Royal Brotherhood Bacoor Alumni Association, Alpha Kappa Rho (AKP) Bacoor Council, the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles Inc, United Skeptron Council, Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines-Bacoor Chapter Joyful Together Volunteers, Cavite Provincial Federation, Pruedence Tabanag President AVES CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATION-Bacoor, Supreme Student Council (University of Perpetual Help – Molino), Central College Student Council, St. Dominic College of Asia, and CvSU Bacoor City Campus – Central Student Government.
The purpose of the event was to foster collaboration and cooperation between the Bacoor LGU and these esteemed organizations. Mayor Strike aims to utilize these alliances as instruments for guiding the youth of Bacoor towards the right path. He envisions these organizations playing a vital role in supporting the city government’s initiatives, particularly in steering the youth away from vices and towards sports and other productive activities such as karate, basketball, volleyball, and more.
During the meeting, important topics such as ANTI-BULLYING measures and TELEPAYO were also discussed. These initiatives aim to provide support and guidance to those in need, helping them overcome challenges and prevent unfortunate incidents.
The meeting served as a testament to the unity and dedication of the Bacoor community towards creating a better future for the city’s youth. Mayor Strike B. Revilla expressed his gratitude to all the participating organizations for their commitment and emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving progress.
As the meeting concluded, the attendees left with a renewed sense of purpose and a shared commitment to work hand in hand towards the development and welfare of the youth in Bacoor. With the support of these organizations, the Bacoor LGU is poised to create a nurturing environment where the youth can thrive and reach their full potential.
