COUNCILOR HERNANDO C. GUTIERREZ
Born on November 16, 1955, became an actor in 1979. Joined the Philippine Army Reserve Command on 1999 as Master Sergeant and become active in the government duties under the chairmanship of Senator Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. He worked at the Senate of the Philippines particularly under the Department of Political Affairs. He was designated to become the Deputy Agent of the Videogram Regulatory Board on November 7, 2003, primarily tasked to gather and report to the Chief Intelligence and Inspection Division all necessary intelligence information regarding compliance by Videogram establishments of PD1987 Implementing Rules and Regulations. He was authorized to provide assistance and support in the conduct of law enforcement operations and other related activities of the Board. Filed his candidacy for City Councilor of Bacoor City and have won in the National Election last May 13, 2013 as the City Councilor of District 2, City of Bacoor, and Province of Cavite. He currently chairs the committees on Public Transportation and Traffic Management and Government Enterprises and Privatization, further elected as Board Member of the Philippine Councilors League and presently the Chairman of the newly constituted PLEB or People’s Law Enforcement Boards. On August 11, 2015, he was awarded as “Pinakamahusay na Konsehal sa Lungsod ng Calabarzon” by the Gawad Sulo ng Bayan. On May 9, 2016, was re-elected.
