City Government officials led by Alde Pagulayan, Chief of Staff for External Affairs, started preparations for the peaceful and safe observance of Holy Week 2018 through the scheduled activation of Oplan Lakbay Alalay. According to Richard Quion, Head of the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Oplan Lakbay Alalay aims to maintain peace and order, provide timely assistance, manage traffic volume, and ensure cleanliness and orderliness as Bacoorenos observe Holy Week. The groups which will be mobilized for Oplan Lakbay Alalay are PNP, BDRRMO, BTMD, BPSU, BFP, BPAT and Kabalikat Radio Communication. The program will run from March 29, 30, 31, and April 1, 2018.
