The City Government of Bacoor, in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and the Department of Science and Technology – Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST-ITDI), held a groundbreaking ceremony today for the construction of the Bacoor City National Science and Technology High School.
The event, held near the Town and Country Subdivision in Molino 3, Bacoor City, was a testament to the commitment of the City Government and its partners to providing quality education for the youth of Bacoor. The ceremony was graced by: Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, Congresswoman Lani M. Revilla, Hon. Sonny Angara, Secretary, Department of Education, Hon. Trygue Olaivar, Undersecretary, DepEd, Hon. Eric Ayapana, representing Sec Manuel Bonoan (DPWH), Hon. Atty. Peter Irving Corvera, Undersecretary, DepEd, Hon. Wilfred Cabal, Undersecretary, DepEd/ Regional Director, NCR, Hon. Atty. Alberto Escobarte, Regional Director, IV-A Calabarzon, Hon. Loida Idea, Asst. Regional Director, IV-A Calabarzon, Sangguniang Panlungsod Members, Agimat Partylist represented by Hernando “KING” Gutierrez, Dr. Babylyn Pambid, School Division Superintendent, and Dr. Lualhati Cadavedo, Asst. School Division Superintendent.
The groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of construction for the 12-storey building that will house the Bacoor City National Science and Technology High School. This project is a significant investment in the future of Bacoor’s youth, providing them with a state-of-the-art learning environment that will foster their academic growth and prepare them for the challenges of the 21st century.
