This colonial gravity dam irrigated the rice fields within the Recollect-owned Hacienda de San Nicolas in Bacoor. Constructed under the supervision of Recollect Brother Roman Caballero, this dam has adobe walls and cobblestone floorings. Situated along the Ligas River that originates from Sitio Bacod-na-Bato, it is the boundary that demarcates Hacienda de San Nicolas in Bacoor, from Las Piñas and parts of Hacienda de San Jose in Muntinlupa. Until now, it serves as a footbridge or a passageway for commuters, to and from the City of Bacoor.
