Today’s flag raising ceremony was truly inspiring as it celebrated the accomplishments of outstanding Bacoorenos. It started off with the awarding of certificates and incentives to students who won in the International Kangaroo Mathematics Competition 2019.
Bacoorenos who have exemplified outstanding public service were also recognized including Honorable Roy Cheng, Municipal Trial Court Judge in Naic; Honorable Melissa Torres, Assistant Public Prosecutor in the City of Bacoor; Honorable Gaysol Luna, Regional Trial Court Judge in Trece Martirez; and Honorable Arnel Espiritu, Regional Trial Court Judge in the City of Bacoor.
Also given honors this morning were Bacoor Police Chief Lieutenant Colonel Vicente Cabatingan and Eric John Verde, champion at the 23rd World Championship of the Performing Arts. Likewise, the award received by Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla as one of the Best Local Chief Executives from the Bureau of Fire Protection was also presented. She was given the Medalya ng Pambihirang Paglilingkod (Degree of Lakan).
The City Livelihood and Development presented their accomplishments and announced the lineup of TESDA scholarship programs. Beneficiaries were also awarded the DOST Bicycle Food Cart.
Wrapping the event is the empowering message given by TESDA Provincial Director Conrado Maraan Jr.
