In a bold initiative to shape the future of youth leadership, the “STRIKE AS 1 Kabataan: A Student Leaders Training Program on Self-Reliance, Transformative Leadership, Responsibility, Integrity, Kinship, and Empowerment (SK Edition)” kicked off with much anticipation today, June 27, 2024, at Revilla Hall.
The opening day was graced by the esteemed presence of Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista-Mendiola, SK Federation President Palm Angel Buncio, and Ms. Angie Cariaso, the Local Youth Development Officer in charge. Among the distinguished speakers were Ms. Lormie Garay, CEO of Hero, and Ms. Agnes Guarin from UP Diliman, both of whom delivered inspiring talks that resonated deeply with the participants.
Spanning from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM today and continuing tomorrow, June 28, 2024, these young leaders will delve into critical topics designed to foster self-reliance, promote transformative leadership, uphold responsibility and integrity, and strengthen kinship and empowerment within their communities.
Spearheaded by Dra. Ma. Cristina Alberto, founder of the HOPE Foundation, in partnership with the City Government of Bacoor under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, this groundbreaking event is set to leave a lasting impact on the young leaders of Bacoor.
