Bacoor City, August 5, 2025 — The SM Foundation and SM Cares, in partnership with the City Government of Bacoor and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), conducted a relief distribution drive to assist flood victims affected by the recent typhoon in Barangay Habay 1 and Habay 2.
The event took place at the SM City Bacoor Annex Parking Lot, where essential relief goods were distributed to residents severely impacted by the floods. This initiative aims to provide immediate support and help the affected communities recover from the disaster.
Key officials present included Mayor Strike B. Revilla, BM Alde Pagulayan, Councilor Kuya Noly Galvez, and Barangay Captain Obet Castillo along with the Barangay Council of Barangay Habay 1. Representing SM were Assistant Mall Manager Mr. Mark Anthony Caballero, SM Mall Manager Joseph Ferrosuelo, and other SM personnel.
Mayor Strike expressed his gratitude to SM Foundation and SM Cares for their continuous support and partnership in assisting Bacoorños during times of crisis. The City Government remains committed to providing timely aid and ensuring the welfare of all its residents.
