Yesterday, March 25,2025, under the leadership of JSUPT CHRISTOPHER R. PENILLA, City Jail Warden, the Bacoor City Jail-MD successfully hosted a skills training session focused on Bread and Pastry – specifically, Vanilla Chiffon Cake Making. This session was conducted by Cavite State University-Bacoor Campus and attended by 30 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
This training is an important milestone in supporting the successful reintegration of PDLs into society. By providing them with essential culinary skills, the program not only enhances their self-esteem but also opens up pathways for future careers and business ventures. By fostering their abilities, we are helping to pave the way for a more promising and productive future, enabling them to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
