St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) and the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 4A CALABARZON came together in a monumental event to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today, June 25, 2024. The ceremony, held at the 11th Floor DRA. Hall of St. Dominic College of Asia, marked the beginning of a collaborative partnership among the institutions.
Notable attendees included Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola and Councilor Alde Pagulayan from Bacoor LGU, alongside Ms. Khei Sanchez representing Mayor Strike B. Revilla. From the Bureau of Fire Protection, FCSUPT Jaime D. Ramirez, DSC, the Regional Director of BFP-R4A CALABARZON, and FSINSP Precious V. Petalio, the Acting City Fire Marshal of Bacoor, were present. Representing St. Dominic, were Engr. Monte A. Andaman, a Board of Trustee at St. Dominic College of Asia Inc./St. Dominic Medical Center, and Dr. Alvin Jason A. Virata, MIT, the Dean of the College of Communication, Multimedia, and Computer Science, and Director for Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness.
The event was highlighted by the ceremonial signing of the MOA, signifying a commitment to cooperation and shared endeavors. Additionally, moments were awarded to commemorate the occasion and signify the strengthened partnership.
