The Housing and Urban Development and Resettlement Department (HUDRD), under the leadership of Atty. Aimee Torrefanca-Neri, in collaboration with the National Housing Authority (NHA), successfully initiated the relocation and resettlement program for informal settler families (ISFs) on June 19 and 20, 2024.
The relocation, aimed at providing safer and more secure housing for families affected by a government infrastructure project, saw the participation of 51 families, comprising 224 individuals, in its first batch. These families have been relocated to the Hyacinth Residence located in Barangay Calubcob, Naic, Cavite.
The event, which commenced at 8:00 AM each day, marked the beginning of the planned relocation of a total of 110 ISF families. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to addressing the housing needs of informal settlers and improving their living conditions.
