Bacoor City, August 4, 2025 — The Office of the General Services, in partnership with the non-government organization Mayor Strike Inc. (MSI), hosted a meaningful Flag Raising Ceremony at the Strike Gymnasium.
The program commenced with an opening prayer led by Pastor Elmer Palad, followed by the entrance of colors by BJMP Bacoor City personnel. The Bacoor Unity Band rendered the Philippine National Anthem, setting a patriotic tone for the event. The ceremony continued with the Panunumpa sa Watawat led by Mr. Sean Solis, Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan by Ms. Vivian Saylo, and Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas presented by Ms. Shyrine Gutierrez. The Quality Policy Statement was delivered by Mr. Antonio Gayangos Jr.
Musical performances of the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn, Cavite Hymn, and Bacoor Hymn were beautifully presented by Queen’s Row Elementary School. Hon. Rogelio “Bok” Nolassco, City Councilor of Bacoor – District 2, gave the opening remarks.
The event also honored outstanding students with the awarding of certificates and incentives to Latin Honor Awardees from various schools, recognizing their academic excellence. The Latin Honor Awardees are:

Certificates and allowances were also awarded to 11 job starters from the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), presented by Dr. Abraham Domingo De Castro.
Special recognitions were given to the Bacoor City Jail Female Dormitory for exemplary service and integrity, earning the title of Best Female Dorm of the Year for the region. A plaque and token of appreciation were also awarded to Mayor Strike B. Revilla for his invaluable support to the BJMP Regional Office-CALABARZON in fulfilling its mandate.
The awards were originally presented during the 34th BJMP Anniversary held on July 25, 2025, at Holiday Inn & Suites Batangas.
Additionally, the Philippine National Police (PNP) Bacoor, led by PLT COL Alexie A. Desamito, received certificates of recognition for their roles in various security operations including Oplan Ligtas SUMVAC, COMELEC Checkpoint, MNLE 2025 Security Coverage, Brigada Eskwela, and Oplan Balik Eskwela.
The Office of the General Services, headed by Mr. Agripino Pagdanganan Jr., presented an accomplishment report during the ceremony. Guest speaker Ms. Luzviminda S. Amparo, OICV and Provincial General Services Officer of the Provincial Government of Cavite, also addressed the attendees.
City Mayor Strike B. Revilla delivered a special message highlighting the weekly accomplishments of the city government.
The Flag Raising Ceremony at Strike Gymnasium served as a platform to honor dedication, promote unity, and celebrate the collective efforts of Bacoor’s public servants, students, and partner organizations.
