The Office of the City Health Services (OCHS), headed by Dra. Ivy Marie Yrastorza, convened the City Health Board meeting last November 19, 2024, at the SBR Conference Room. Mayor Strike B. Revilla led the meeting, which brought together key stakeholders, including Councilor Rey Palabrica, Dra. Armida Camposagrado from the Department of Health (DOH), Ms. Rosalie Santos, President of the Barangay Health Workers, and OCHS employees.
The meeting agenda focused on reviewing and strengthening healthcare services in Bacoor. Key topics discussed included the reporting of 3rd quarter programs and accomplishments, licensing of primary care facilities, the implementation of PhilHealth E-Konsulta and Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and the annual medical checkup program for city employees.
The board also addressed crucial initiatives like the follow-up on an electronic database for health facility reporting, the LGU Scorecard for Health 2023, the 2026-2028 Local Investment Plan for Health, and the adaptation of Republic Act 10152, which mandates basic immunization.
The meeting served as a platform for collaboration and strategic planning, ensuring that Bacoor continues to provide high-quality healthcare services to its residents.
