Bacoor City, July 10, 2025 — Mayor Strike B. Revilla, together with LnB Vice President Kap Randy Francisco, conducted an ocular inspection at Mariano Gomes National Highschool to assess the current condition of the school facilities. The visit, organized by the Office of the Mayor, was attended by teachers from Bacoor National Highschool.
During the inspection, Mayor Strike engaged with learners, faculty, and staff, reinforcing the city’s commitment to quality public education. The school currently has 100 teachers, with plans to add more to meet growing needs. However, the Mayor identified several issues, including school buildings that are low-lying and prone to flooding, insufficient chairs—which he pledged to provide—and classroom shortages.
Mayor Strike emphasized that two-storey buildings are no longer acceptable and proposed replacing them with four-storey structures to better accommodate students. He encouraged school officials to communicate any urgent needs directly to his office for prompt resolution. This visit reflects the Mayor’s dedication to personally monitoring the status of schools in Bacoor to ensure a conducive learning environment for all students.
