In connection with the forthcoming May 12, 2024 National and Local Elections and under COMELEC Resolution No. 11086 or the Rules and Regulations Implementing the Fair Elections Act, a Task Force to Tear Down and Remove Unlawful Election Materials (OPERATION BAKLAS) is hereby created.
This Task Force consist of the COMELEC Election Officer as Chairman, with members from the Bacoor PNP and the City Environment Service Department to tear down and remove all unlawful election materials.
Further, there will be a simultaneous Operation Baklas to be held on February 11 and March 28, 2025 to tear down and remove unlawful Elections Materials within our area of jurisdiction.
