Law enforcement officers and community groups joined hands in promoting safety and peace during the festive season through the “Motorcade for Peace 2024,” held on December 26, 2024, at about 7:30 AM.
The motorcade was spearheaded by personnel of Bacoor Component City Police Station, led by PCMS Esperidion C Matibag Jr, CAD PNCO, under the supervision of PLTCOL JOHN PAOLO V CARRACEDO, Chief of Police. They were joined by personnel from the Cavite PPO Police Community Affairs and Development Unit (PCADU), led by Jocelyn R Bongcawil, CAS PNCO, under supervision of PLTCOL CHARLES DAVEN M CAPAGCUAN, Chief PCADU.
Traversing Molino Boulevard, Old Molino Road, Aguinaldo Highway, Evangelista Road, and Zapote 1, the motorcade formed part of the “-” “-” Campaigns. These initiatives aim to ensure a safe and peaceful celebration of Christmas and New Year by raising awareness about the dangers of illegal fireworks and the importance of firecracker safety to prevent injuries.
In addition to the motorcade, the Advocacy Support Group and Force Multipliers (ASG-FM), led by Carl E. Matta, President of the Strike Team Auxiliary Response Service (STARS), conducted a food distribution activity. Flyers and leaflets containing crime prevention and safety tips were also distributed to educate the community and foster a secure environment.
This joint effort reflects the commitment of law enforcement and community partners to creating a harmonious and injury-free holiday season for the residents of Bacoor City.
