Bacoor City, May 30, 2024 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla extends assistance to and collaborates with the students of St. Francis of Assisi College in their research endeavor.
The participating students, namely Alfred Yuri Jor-El Discaya, Rachel Danica S. Andaloc, Gwyneth Q. Gawaran, and Daniel Marc G. Villaglores, are tasked with carrying out a research project titled “Developing a Novel Bitter Gourd-Based Gauze Bandage.” As part of their study, they need to extract bitter gourd or ampalaya for laboratory testing to determine its effectiveness as a bandage material. However, due to financial constraints, they seek support from Mayor Strike to cover the expenses involved in conducting tests at Cavite East Asia Medical Center, the only facility capable of administering the required tests.
Mayor Strike’s commitment to supporting education and research initiatives underscores the importance of fostering academic growth and innovation within the community. His collaboration with students exemplifies his dedication to nurturing local talents and promoting advancements in various fields of study.
