Bacoor City, April 3, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, through the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) Office, hosted a courtesy call from representatives of the National Nutrition Council (NNC) Region 4A and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) today at the Mayor’s Office.
The courtesy call was organized by Ms. Cristina Elalto, City Nutrition Action Officer, and was attended by Mayor Strike B. Revilla. The NNC representatives included Ms. Jullien Louisecuartero, RND (Nutrition Officer 2) and Ms. Kelsey Mae T. Tardecilla (Nutrition Officer 2), while Ms. Marilou Mosqueda (Agriculturist 2) represented BFAR.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the upcoming Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan and Implementation Protocol (MELLPI PRO) Assessment, a functionality assessment scheduled for April 2-4, 2025. The assessment will focus on evaluating the effectiveness of the Bacoor City Nutrition Council’s programs and initiatives.
The meeting served as an opportunity for the City Government to collaborate with the NNC and BFAR, ensuring a comprehensive and successful evaluation process. The City Government remains committed to strengthening its nutrition programs and improving the nutritional well-being of its residents.
