June 5, 2024 — The Association of Liga ng Barangay organized a significant gathering in the month of June, bringing together key officials and representatives for a productive discussion.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla and City Councilor Karen Sarino-Evaristo were among the esteemed guests present at the event, emphasizing the city’s dedication to community development.
Participants included LNB Vice President Coun. Randy Francisco and various Barangay Chairmen from the City of Bacoor, highlighting the unity and collaboration within the barangays.
The purpose of the meeting encompassed various essential topics, including disaster preparation, environmental initiatives, and community mobilization. Representatives from Fortune Life, CESD, BTMD, and PNP shared valuable insights and updates during the session.
Mayor Revilla addressed the audience, sharing updates on completed projects and future plans for the improvement of barangays. He highlighted initiatives such as establishing reading centers in each barangay, flood preparations, housing projects, and the formation of marching bands to promote community unity.
Various city departments, including CESD, BDRRMO, PNP, Tourism, CSWD, Housing, Engineering, and Maynilad, provided announcements and reminders to enhance barangay services and disaster preparedness.
Additionally, Mayor Revilla discussed City Ordinances, Philhealth memberships for Bacoor residents, the city’s journey towards cityhood, and proposed activities like a Choir Competition in December.
