BACOOR CITY, MAY 25, 2024 – The Our Lady of Perpetual Help Molino Campus in collaboration with the City Livelihood and Development Center is proud to present CALYE CULINARYA 2024. This highly anticipated event aims to revive and promote traditional dishes that have been an integral part of the culinary heritage of the Philippines.
Distinguished guests and speakers, including Mayor Strike B. Revilla, renowned Chef Christopher Guado Carangian – founder of Culinary General Calye Culinarya and Razo Chef PH, Atty.. Rentas and his wife, Dr. Jose Andres Diaz, President of the Bacoor Historical Socirty, Veronica Esquierdo Asinas – Secrrtary of BHS, and Dr. Godwyn Noriel Bernardo -Vice President of BHS, graced the occasion with their presence.
Participants from De La Salle University — Dasmariñas and Perpetual Molino will showcase their culinary skills and creativity during the event. The highlight of CALYE CULINARYA 2024 is the CIENTO QUINCE dish, a flavorful ensemble of Tahong, Shrimp, Crab, Langka, Coconut Milk and Sili.
CALYE CULINARYA 2024 started today May 25, 2024 at SM Molino and it will be continueno Monday (May 27, 2024) and Tuesday (May 28, 2024) at Perpetual Molino.
The event aims to promote the use of 115 varieties of Chili Peppers and highlight the historical dishes.
The TRADE FAIR organized by the Livelihood and Development Center will run alongside the culinary festivities, offering a platform for local entrepreneurs to showcase their products and contribute to the growth of the community.
