Bacoor City, April 4, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla, known for his dedication to the well-being of Bacoor’s residents, convened a meeting today at the Revilla Hall to discuss school safety and child protection measures in Bacoor City. The meeting emphasized the need for a collaborative approach involving schools, barangays, and the Bacoor PNP.
The meeting, organized by the City Government of Bacoor through the Office of the City Administrator, headed by Atty. Aimee Torrefrangca-Neri, was attended by key stakeholders, including Dr. Babylyn Pambid, Schools Division Superintendent (SDS), PLt. Col. John Paolo Carracedo, Bacoor PNP Chief, and representatives from barangays and schools.
Mayor Strike expressed his deep concern for the safety of children in and around schools, highlighting the recent incident in ParaƱaque involving a student who killed a fellow student. He stressed the importance of proactive measures to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in Bacoor. Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between schools, barangays, and the Bacoor PNP to implement comprehensive safety protocols and child protection measures.
The meeting also included the announcement of a new Sport Development and Wellness Department, which will focus on promoting sports and wellness programs for all ages, particularly youth. The City Government of Bacoor remains committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for all children, ensuring their well-being and providing opportunities for their development.
