Bacoor City, October 17, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, through PESO Bacoor led by Dr. Abraham De Castro, in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), conducted a TUPAD orientation today at the Bacoor City Hall Main Lobby. The event was graced by Mayor Strike B. Revilla.
Over 175 potential beneficiaries attended the TUPAD (Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers) orientation, which aimed to inform residents about the program, a project of Senator Joel “TESDAMAN” Villanueva, which provides temporary employment opportunities to disadvantaged and displaced workers in Bacoor.
DOLE coordinators Ms. Lej Garcia, Ms. Maya Noche, and Ms. Nica Bobes were present to explain the program’s guidelines and requirements. The orientation also served as an opportunity for potential beneficiaries to register and learn about the various employment opportunities available under the program.
Mayor Revilla expressed his support for the TUPAD program, emphasizing its importance in providing immediate relief and livelihood opportunities to those in need. He encouraged residents to actively participate in the program to uplift their lives and contribute to the city’s economic growth.
