Bacoor City, December 4, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, continued its “Kalinga sa Matanda” program today at the Strike Gymnasium, providing financial assistance to senior citizens from Barangays Queens Row East and San Nicolas 1. The event was organized by the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) and the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD), led by Ms. Lilian Ugalde.
The event saw the distribution of financial support to senior citizens from both Barangays, with 1,624 beneficiaries from Queens Row East and 742 from San Nicolas 1. The event was graced by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Sangguniang Panglungsod members, Team Revilla, Atty. Venus De Castro, OSCA Head, Ms. Nenita Reyes, Bacoor Senior Citizens Federation President, Barangay Queens Row East officials led by Kapitan Theodore Montes, and Barangay Salinas 1 officials led by Kapitan Alfredo Kalinisan.
The “Kalinga sa Matanda” program, supported by Senator Ramon “BONG” Revilla Jr., Congwoman Lani Mercado Revilla, Congressman Bryan Revilla of Agimat Partylist, and soon-to-be Cavite Vice Governor Board Member Ram Revilla, aims to provide financial support to senior citizens in Bacoor City, ensuring their well-being and recognizing their valuable contributions to the community. The event served as a testament to the City Government’s commitment to prioritizing the needs of its senior citizens and fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
