Bacoor, Cavite – The City Government of Bacoor, in partnership with the Office of Senator Lito Lapid, conducted a relief distribution yesterday, September 17, 2024, at Main Square Mall for residents of Barangay Zapote 3 affected by a recent fire.
The event was graced by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Councilors Alde Pagulayan and Karen Sarino Evaristo, and Kapitan Erning De Rosas of Barangay Zapote 3. Senator Lito Lapid himself was present to personally extend his support and assistance to the fire victims.
The relief packages included essential items such as DSWD Family Clothing Kits, DSWD Hygiene Kits, and DSWD Clothing Kits. These kits contained various necessities like bath towels, underwear, t-shirts, shorts, slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, sanitary napkins, blankets, pillows, and mosquito nets.
The distribution was a testament to the commitment of the government and Senator Lapid to provide immediate relief and support to those in need. The event brought hope and a sense of community to the fire victims, reminding them that they are not alone in their time of hardship.
