Bacoor City, August 8, 2025 — PhilHealth, in cooperation with the City Government of Bacoor through Public Employment Service Office (PESO), organized a PhilHealth Caravan at the Strike Gymnasium to provide health benefits and assistance to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and kasambahays from four barangays: Molino 3, Habay 1, Panapaan 6, and Molino 6.
The event was led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Congressman Bryan Revilla of the Agimat Partylist and Chairperson of the Congress OFW Concerns, Councilor Horacio Brilliantes, Doc Abraham De Castro, head of PESO Bacoor, and Ms. Obelia Fontanilla, Chief Social Insurance Officer of Philhealth LHIO Dasmariñas. Philhealth staff Ms. Darlene D. Albano (SIO II), Mr. Roldan L. Evangelista (AO I), Ms. Ma. Joanna G. Fello (SIA I – PAIMS), and Ms. Tony-Lyn K. Agapay (Clerk III) were also present.
Around 200 beneficiaries, composed mostly of OFWs and kasambahays, received assistance during the caravan. The initiative aims to promote universal health care and provide protection for these vulnerable sectors. The Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital (STRH), along with PESO, OCHS and CSWD representatives, actively supported the project, ensuring its success.
