On February 21, 2025, the City Government of Bacoor—Office of Veterinary Services held a lecture at Barangay Molino 1 covering topics such as Responsible Pet Ownership, Rabies Awareness, the Animal Welfare Act, and City Ordinances No. 396-2024 S.2024 and No. 279-2023 S.2023, also known as the “Pet Ownership and Breeding Regulation Ordinance of the City of Bacoor.” The session was attended by Barangay and HOA officials.
These lectures provide the community with vital information on proper pet care, disease prevention—especially rabies—and the legal responsibilities of owning a pet.
By staying informed, Bacooreños can contribute to a safer and healthier environment for both people and animals. Raising awareness also plays a crucial role in preventing animal neglect and cruelty, ensuring pets receive the care they need. Ultimately, these educational efforts help build a more responsible and compassionate community.
Let’s STRIKE AS ONE—be a responsible pet owner and help keep our community safe for both humans and animals!
