Bacoor City, March 14, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, through the Office of the City Civil Registry (CCR), today held a heartwarming Mass Baptism ceremony at the Saint Michael Archangel Parish Church in Barangay Poblacion. The event provided a special opportunity for 195 young Bacooreños to receive the sacrament of baptism, signifying a new beginning and a commitment to faith, with the City Government offering free baptism to all participants.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of: Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, Councilor Karen Sarino Evaristo, LnB Vice President Randy Francisco, Mr. Noly Galvez (Assistant Head BDRRMO), Mr. Udoy Brillantes, and CCR staffs led by Ms. Maria Theresa Cameros, CCR head. The event was officiated by Rev. Father Calixto Lumandas and Rev. Father Anishmon Joseph, along with Church personnel.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla, in his inspiring message, emphasized the importance of education and a brighter future for the children. He urged the parents to commit to ensuring their children complete their education, even up to college level. “Let us dream together, promise me, parents, that we will help these children finish their education, even up to college,” he said. He also expressed his commitment to supporting the children’s future, urging everyone to work together to provide them with a brighter tomorrow.
The event was a testament to the City Government’s dedication to empowering future generations and providing opportunities for all Bacooreños. With the promise of four Mass Baptism events per year, the City Government ensures that every child has the chance to receive this important sacrament and be embraced by the community.
