Bacoor City, February 26, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla met with the Liga ng mga Barangay (LNB) today at the 5th floor of the Bacoor Resilient Building to discuss key issues related to peace and order, community safety, and city services. The meeting was organized by LNB officers and brought together 47 Barangay Chairmen from across Bacoor.
The meeting addressed several important topics, including strengthening security measures within barangays, particularly regarding the control of gate entrances and exits. Discussions also focused on the importance of installing and sharing CCTV footage from each barangay with the BDRRMO to enhance situational awareness and response capabilities. Concerns related to garbage collection were also tackled, exploring ways to improve efficiency and ensure proper waste management.
The City Government announced its intention to create an ordinance requiring individuals and families living in informal settler (ISF) communities without legal titles to pay property taxes for their structures. The meeting also served as a platform to discuss the upcoming March events in celebration of Mayor Strike B. Revilla’s birthday month.
The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between the City Government and barangay leaders in maintaining peace and order, enhancing community safety, and improving city services. The discussions highlighted the shared commitment to working together to create a safer, cleaner, and more prosperous Bacoor City.
