Bacoor City, April 2, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla met with representatives from Maynilad Water Services Inc. (MWSI) and China International Water & Electric Corp (CWE) today at the SBR Conference Room to discuss the project status and traffic management plan for the ongoing pipe laying project in Molino, Bacoor.
The meeting was organized by the City Government of Bacoor, with the participation of Ms. Leslie Diane Morales (BTMD Head) and Engr. Jicky Jutba (City Engineering Office). Representatives from CWE, including Jedah De Mateo, Wang Yanjun, Chen Juujie, Jake Bryan Bronola (CWE S.O), and Ian Paulo Villanueva (CWE Admin), as well as Gilberto Tanael from Maynilad Water Services Inc. (MWSI), were present.
The meeting focused on ensuring a smooth resumption of the pipe laying project while minimizing traffic disruptions for residents. Mayor Revilla emphasized the importance of a detailed traffic management plan that would effectively mitigate congestion and ensure the safety of commuters. The Mayor requested a comprehensive traffic plan from both CWE and Maynilad, outlining specific measures to be implemented during the project’s resumption. These measures are expected to include traffic rerouting, designated pick-up and drop-off zones, and increased traffic enforcement.
This meeting highlights the City Government’s commitment to balancing infrastructure development with the needs of the community, particularly in terms of traffic management and public convenience.
