Bacoor City, October 22, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, today distributed financial assistance to 1,122 beneficiaries as part of the “Kadiwa ng Pangulo” program. The event, organized by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWD) in partnership with the Mayor’s Office, was held at the Strike Gymnasium.
The financial assistance, funded by President Bongbong Marcos and House Speaker Martin Romualdez, was distributed to various sectors, including representatives from Cavite State University (CvSU) Bacoor and Imus campuses, cooperatives, fraternities, business organizations, and former barangay captains.
The distribution ceremony was graced by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, Sangguniang Panglungsod Members, Team Revilla, Vice President of the Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB), Kapitan Randy Francisco, and SK Federation President Palm Angel Buncio.
This initiative underscores the city’s commitment to providing support to its residents, particularly those in need. The Kadiwa ng Pangulo program reflects the national government’s dedication to empowering communities and alleviating poverty.
The event was a testament to the collaborative efforts of the city government and national agencies working together to uplift the lives of Bacoor residents.
