Bacoor City, January 15, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla, along with Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, Councilor Rey Palabrica, Councilor Simplicio Dominguez, Councilor Rey Fabian, Councilor Robert Advincula, and Ex-Kap Horacio Brilliantes, led the distribution of financial aid under the “Kalinga sa Matanda” program to the third batch of senior citizens in Barangay Molino 3 today at the Bacoor Coliseum.
The event was organized by the City Government of Bacoor, through the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) headed by Mrs. Emiliana Ugalde, and the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) headed by Atty. Venus De Castro. The distribution included senior citizens from Ginintuang Binhi, Molino Homes, Nazareth, and BonAire Subdivision. The event was also attended by Barangay Molino 3 officials.
The “Kalinga sa Matanda” program aims to provide financial assistance to senior citizens in the city. The financial aid demonstrates the City Government’s commitment to the well-being of its elderly residents. Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, and the City Councilors personally handed out the financial assistance to the senior citizens, expressing their gratitude for their contributions to the community and their dedication to serving as role models for younger generations.
