September 13, 2024 – Senator Bong Go, known as “Mr. Malasakit,” personally distributed relief packs to 900 families affected by a recent fire in Sitio Kanluran, Barangay Zapote 3 and Talaba 2, Bacoor City. The event was organized by the City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, in partnership with the Office of Senator Bong Go.
The distribution, held at the Main Square Mall, saw the presence of key officials including Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Councilors Levy Tela and Karen Sarino Evaristo, LnB Vice President Randy Francisco, Barangay Captain Erning De Rosas of Zapote 3, and Mr. Philip Salvador.
Senator Go provided relief packs, vitamins, and balls for fire victims families. He also conducted a raffle draw where lucky recipients won bicycles, cellphones, and watches. The event allowed Senator Go to interact with the fire victims and listen to their concerns.
This initiative highlights Senator Bong Go’s commitment to providing assistance to Filipinos in need, particularly those affected by disasters. The event underscores the importance of government and community partnerships in times of crisis.
