Bacoor City – The Office of the Mayor organized an event to recognize the accomplishments of the Iscool Teen Center (ITC) and present their request for assistance. The gathering, held at the SBR Conference Room on April 1, 2024, was attended by esteemed representatives from the Bacoor LGU and the Iscool Teen Center.
Leading the meeting was Mayor Strike B. Revilla, accompanied by Ms. Angie Carriaso – Local Youth Development Unit Head, Mr. Lodgene Asuncion – E-Gov/MIS Head, Mr. Agripino Pagdanganan – General Services Office Head, Mr. Sydney Solis – Sports Development Unit Head, and Ms. Emilie de Castro – Office of Population Development Head. The ITC team, including ITC Adviser Ma’am Luisa Erbon, Coordinator Sir Arnold Belarmino, and Principal IV Doc Teodoro A. Gloriani, along with members of different student councils, were also present.
The Iscool Teen Center, established by Mayor Strike B. Revilla in 2011, has been a beacon of support and guidance for the students of Bacoor National High School Main Barangay Molino 1. During the meeting, the ITC presented an achievement report, highlighting the positive impact the center has had on the personal and academic growth of the students. The ITC emphasized the importance of nurturing a safe and inclusive environment for the youth of Bacoor.
In addition to celebrating their achievements, the Iscool Teen Center expressed their need for assistance. They requested essential items such as laptops, bond paper, colored paper, ball pens, a sound system, and musical instruments like guitars and keyboards. These resources would greatly enhance the educational experience and creative development of the students at the Iscool Teen Center.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla commended the Iscool Teen Center for their dedication and commitment to empowering the youth of Bacoor. He assured them that their request for assistance would be given careful consideration. The Bacoor LGU, under the leadership of Mayor Revilla, remains steadfast in supporting initiatives that foster the growth and well-being of the younger generation.
The courtesy call event concluded with a fruitful discussion, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the Bacoor LGU and the Iscool Teen Center. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to providing opportunities for growth and development for the youth of Bacoor. The Office of the Mayor and the Iscool Teen Center look forward to working together to create a brighter future for the students and the community as a whole.
